This file currently has the variable ENABLE_HACKS set to 1, to make up for a bug in Matlab 6.0 and 6.1. The Mathworks has promised that this bug will be corrected in the next release.

Someone mentioned this at the meeting in Budapest 2001, however I have not found the right reference searching the litterature. If anyone knows of the right reference, I would very much like to incorporate this into the documentation.
